These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Monlio: Money & Wealth Tracker (the "App") and https://monlio.app(the "Website") provided by Monlio("we", "us", or "our"). By using the App or Website, you agree to these Terms.
Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the App. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with applicable laws.
The service
Monlio is a personal finance tracking tool. You manually enter transactions and account information. The App does not provide investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice. Market data and exchange rates are provided for informational purposes and may be delayed or inaccurate.
Monlio offers a free tier and an optional Monlio Pro upgrade (one-time in-app purchase). The free tier includes core manual tracking with up to 2 accounts and limited features. Monlio Pro unlocks additional features such as unlimited accounts, multi-currency tracking, advanced reports, and optional iCloud sync. Feature availability is described in the App and may change over time.
Account and authentication
Sign-in with Apple or Google is optional. You can tap Skip for now and use the App with local data only. Sign-in is required to enable iCloud sync, which is available to Monlio Pro users.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and authentication credentials. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
Purchases
Monlio Pro is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase processed by Apple through the App Store. Prices are shown in the App before purchase and may vary by region. There are no subscriptions.
Purchase entitlements are tied to your Apple ID. You can restore Monlio Pro on a new device using Restore Purchases with the same Apple ID. Refunds are handled by Apple according to App Store policies — we do not process refunds directly.
Your data
You retain ownership of the financial information you enter. You are responsible for the accuracy of data you input. We are not responsible for decisions you make based on information displayed in the App.
Finance data is stored locally on your device by default. Deleting your account removes local profile and finance data from that device. Data previously synced to iCloud may remain in your iCloud account until you remove it through your Apple ID or iCloud settings.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for unlawful purposes
- Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or overload the App or Website
- Misrepresent your identity or interfere with other users' access
- Use automated means to scrape or extract data from the Website without permission
Third-party services
The App integrates with Apple, Google, and public data providers for authentication, market information, in-app purchases, and optional iCloud sync. Your use of those services is subject to their terms and policies.
Availability and changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We strive to keep the App available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may release updates that change functionality, feature availability between free and Pro tiers, or system requirements.
Disclaimer of warranties
THE APP AND WEBSITE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MONLIO AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR REVENUE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP OR WEBSITE.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Monlio from claims arising out of your misuse of the App or violation of these Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of European Union, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence apply.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
